CYD Ham Dashboard

BricoHams edition. Flash the dashboard to an ESP32 Cheap Yellow Display straight from this page. Nothing to install.

1. Choose your board

2. Connect and flash

Plug the board in with a USB data cable, then press the button and pick its serial port.

Your browser can't flash devices. Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer. Web Serial needs a secure (HTTPS) page.

3. First start

  1. After flashing, the board starts a Wi-Fi hotspot named CYD-HamClock-Setup (password hamclock).
  2. Join it from your phone or computer. The setup page opens by itself; if it doesn't, browse to http://192.168.4.1.
  3. Choose your home Wi-Fi network, then set your callsign, locator and time zone.
  4. Once the board is on your network, open http://cyd-ham.local/ or the IP shown on the screen to change settings.

Troubleshooting

  1. No serial port listed: install the CH340 USB driver and try another cable. Many cables only carry power.
  2. Connection fails: hold BOOT while you click Connect, and release it when flashing starts.
  3. Screen stays blank after flashing but the board joins Wi-Fi: flash the other 2.8" panel build.
  4. Start from scratch: hold BOOT for 5 seconds to reset all settings.
